I'm surprised no one has mentioned the suspension on the Titan as yet. I took mine in a few weeks back cause when I have to do a correction on the fwy there's an abnormal sway in the rear end. Normally a truck will fishtail one way and then correct. The Titan fisthails both directions before correcting. Also when I drive next to a vehicle of equal size the wind bouncing back at me moves me like I was in a small size truck. So I took it in to the dealer....after 2 trips. 1 for a day when they acknowledged it was an issue and unsafe but couldn't figure out the problem, then for 2 days for them to look at it again b4 they called out one of the nissan engineers to look at it. After the second trip they test drove another Titan and said it was "normal". How does something go from abnormal and unsafe...to normal in the matter of a week? Just because another Titan does it, may make it normal, NOT safe. Anyone else noticing this kind of problem, not to mention it tracks on the freeway like cr@*#.
Thing is I talked to my uncle about the problem, he had a buddy that had the same exact issue with a tacoma and found out Toyota was using too wimpy of a leaf spring causing it to control irratically.

Can't say that I have had this problem. Have had my Titan for over a year with no problems.

Nice to see it isn't in fact "normal" like I'm being told.

My advice, keep a visual record of the your tread wear. If it becomes abnormal (sloping, feathering... etc) take it back in and demand that something has to be fixed. I can almost guarentee because of the fact you track, and fishtail, your tread on the tires are going to be jacked up.
Then Nissan will have to do something with it, because that doesn't happen unless something isn't aligned right, or is loose. And they also have your complaint on file about the rear end.

I would also ask to test drive another Titan, and see if you observe the same problems on that truck as you do with yours. Have something to compare it to.

yeah, they took me on a test drive in another titan with the same set up. But I still do need to run down to another nissan dealer and see if they have one with my setup that reacts the same.

Hmm is this your first pickup truck? The rear end of a truck with nothing in the bed is squirrelly if you try to drive it like a car. Im not saying your wrong but remember its not a car. It mite be your shocks?

nope, this definately isn't my first truck. I've only ever really driven trucks. And no I've never had a problem with any of my trucks before being squirrly whether the bed was empty or full. the way the vehicle handles is as if it has a 6+ inch lift and mud terrain tires...not like it's bone stock suspension. and they checked the shocks, supposedly, and said nothing was wrong w/them.
Anyone else get some extra survey from nissan...other then the normal one they send out? just got a second one in the mail, but it could be b/c I sent a formal letter in.
