The Titan is the new kid on the block, so yeah, all the common kids are going to pick it apart, find all the faults, and make fun of it. That's a given. But what happens when this new kid has a pair of mucho grande hueveos and the punch to back up what it says? It still gets teased, until that new kid lines up with the old kid toe to toe, and knocks it's teeth down its throat. Hey, I'm not good with analogies, but to me that is what is sounds like.

After what I've experienced with my Titan, no faults of yet, the brakes could crumble and the rearend could drop out tomorrow, the day after I would take it back for a new one. I love it. So until Chevy has a Silverado with a Corvette engine or the F150 with a Cobra Shelby engine that comes stock, I'm sticking to Nissan. And no, I don't care that Dodge has Hemi, it's not the same.

I have the 2005 Titan with the tow package and the only problem I have had was the brake disks got warped.  I called the dealership and they replaced them and all the brake pads.  I had 24,000 miles and it did not cost me anything.  I have a 29' travel trailer and I tow it a lot.  the Titan does not even know it is back there.  When I am towing I get 11 miles to the gallon.  I love my Titan and would get another one tomorrow.

i have an 05 titan and would buy it again if i was looking for a new truck.  i always look at other trucks on the road and like some of them, but still prefer mine.  yes, i too have had some small problems with dealerships and recalls.  i am at 20K now and my brakes are finally warping.  will turn it in monday and get the new stuff in 5 hours.  no big deal.  resprayed the bedliner.  fixed a squeek in the chair.  absolutely nothing else.  i live in va beach and go down to hatteras where the sand is wide and DEEP.  you can drive on the beach there.  i dont even let air out of my tires.  i see "the others" get stuck all over the place.  i have yet to come close.  handles the snow like a champ.

so, yes, to me the best truck on the market, regardless of what consumer reports or "the others" say.

Looking at consumers reports, I noticed the black dots, but I also noticed that in the opinion section there was one person that had a negative blog.  The other ~15 were "I LOVE my TITAN truck"

We had the first rear axle fail at 7000 miles. Now with 36000 it happened again. The first warentee took 6 weeks. We hope this warentee won't take as long. The service manager looked up all the internal parts inside the rear diff looking for updated (improved) internal parts. NO change. The manufaturer is simply sending out the same diff!  That's crazy. We luv this truck. The motor is awesome! But were selling it now. If Nissan actually would have addressed the diff problem with an improved part we would never sell this truck. But we can't trust it now. Bye Bye Titan!

Anyone else had a second diff fail?

Were selling the truck when we get it back, Just can't trust it.

I bought my 2006 Titan LE 4X4, with 6" lift after being a strict GMC man. I needed something that could pull my trailers, something I could use off road, and something that made me feel like I was driving a truck.  After all the investigating and driving many trucks I bought the Titan.  I have 8,000 miles no trouble, runs great, pulls my trailers with little efforts.  My last trip pulling the two ATVs on the trailer at 75 miles an hours I got 15 miles to the gallon.

This truck is awesome, and I have not regretted from changing from my 2001 GMC 2500HD with the 8.1.

I will not only buy it again, I am going to get my wife the Xterra next year...  Awesome truck
