my seat memory thing never stays in the same position. like every 2 days I'm having to push the preset button to get it in the spot I want it. I know when you turn off your truck it goes back alittle and the same when you turn it on it goes foward. but mine is pushed foward and isnt laid back as much as I want it. does anybody else have this problem? and is it suppose to do this, and if I take it in to get fixed would it be under waranty?

Thanks, Nick

Is it suppose to do that?  No. Of course it's not suppose to do that.

Is it covered? Tecknically,Yes. Responce I got was. Oh so sorry, we couldn't replicate the prob.

Whats going wrong  (my opinion) is the system accepts the seat memory position & works properly till one of the switches on the seat is moved. Then it looses the correct position to return to. I think it's a problem in the programing that they hadn't resolved as of  4/5. We'll see how it goes with no ( we couldn't replicate it ) excuse. Of course, you know when you drop the junk off. Your quickest way back to earning money for the next one. Is to leave it with the coat check fag. I'm taking mine back for the second brake fix next week.  (my bad) Didn't tell them I was hip to the crap rotor prob their trying to dodge. Hope I don't make the news. Speaking of Dodge, I'm still glad I don't own one.

ps: If your truck is a LE you can turn this feature off till you have time to take it in.

If you have the navigation unit the entry/exit feature of the seat can be disabled, otherwise it's a dealer "fix".

My seat is also in the wrong position at times.  Usually I think it's because I confuse it though.  Since the seat starts to go to it's position once the key is put in the ignition, I think it can be fooled some times.  It only happens to my seat if I put the key in, let the seat start moving, then start the truck before it's finished.

Usually I start the truck quick enough the seat doesn't have a chance to move till the truck is running.  Or I let the seat finish it's adjustment after putting the key in, then start it, and never have a problem that way.

Don't know if that helps at all?!

Not sure what this means...but anyways.

I do agree that Nissan will just tell you it's working as designed. As long as it is going back to your set position (mine is) when you hit the memory button, I wouldn't worry about it. That happens anytime you accidently bump one of the seat adjuster buttons while getting in or out (which is easily done)
