Hi,
I (mostly) love my 2004 Titan, purchased in October 2004. There's a lot of bang for the buck, even though the 'deals' for the big 3 P/Us were better. I could have bought a $28K Ram CC for $18.5K back then, but
No 4x4 5-spd Rubber Floor Mats No back seat room All seats sucked No under back seat storage
My truck stickered at $30,300, including a 6-CD Changer, floor mats, mud guards, bedliner, and bed extender. The only thing I wish I had that I don't is remote mirrors and steering wheel controls for the stereo.
I had some squeaks initially that were corrected. Some of the interior materials leave a little to be desired, but I love this truck. EXCEPT,
1. Front Brakes shudder - I found the TSB here. Thanks, I appreciate that. I will be getting that fixed. 2. Acceleration - I read where one person here was complaining about that, mostly about not being able to burn rubber. Honestly, I don't care about that. But there is a definite hesitation to this engine, sometimes a +1 second delay in throttle response. I think this is unacceptable. At idle, when I depress the gas, I can hear a whoosh sound prior to actual throttle response. When depressing the gas at speed, there is nothing initially, then a lurch forward. Anyone have a clue on this problem? Thanks in advance.
